"relist option"

   A comment/query.

I sell, among many things, fine photographic prints. The current catalogue stands near 30.

When I see an auction site that either, a. does not allow auto relist, or b. in the case of this script, only allows 2 auto relists by default, I almost always do not post auctions.

So, my point: for users of this script, who do not charge listing fees. (never let it be said I can't butcher a sentence)

Does it not make more sense to set your relist option to "unlimited" in order to attract, and more importantly, *keep* sellers who post significant quantities of merchandise?

For example, if I had to relist my print catalogue, it could take me well over 1 hour, given the fact there must be a lot if information reposted etc.

Please note, I am not "knocking" this script. I mean, you only need look at X Auction, and others to realize this script is a gem. Given the fact we can edit it to allow this option, I think that would go a long way to attracting and keeping sellers.

Here is the code for "unlimited" courtesy of Richard.

------------------begin---------------------------
<INPUT NAME=RELIST TYPE=Radio VALUE="0" checked>None<br>
<INPUT NAME=RELIST TYPE=Radio VALUE="1">1<br>
<INPUT NAME=RELIST TYPE=Radio VALUE="2">2<br>
<INPUT NAME=RELIST TYPE=Radio VALUE="99999">Unlimited<br>
-------------------end----------------------------

It changes in 2 places in the auction.pl file.
