"adding new pages to homepage"
 
   I am trying to add different tables to the homepage, but i dont know how this is done, if anyone can explain to me how this is done i would really appreciate it a great deal. The place on the page is the center column and the right column, im not sure if i need to add something to the right, but for now just those two.....the other one i need assistance on will be the search engine, everytime i do a search it sends me back to the main page. I hope this is the right spot as its y first time posting on in this forum, so please forgive me if i posted in the wrong place......

   Hi,

new table on the homepage will be added in the corresponding dispcat you are using.

example: if you are using dispcat3.pl for your homepage( the dispcat you are suing will be unchecked (no #) in your config.pl, towards the bottom.

if you are using dispcat3.pl then you will want to edit that to add your new tables.

Just take care with your editing. Also always work from a copy of a backup, so you can upload the original current backup to the server if there is a mistake made, and you will be back in business.
